Introduction of Television at the World's Fair

On April 30, 1939 (Salazar 2014), the National Broadcasting Co. (NBC) introduced the electronic television to the public at the World's Fair in New York (Lemm 2018). On that day, the electronic television broadcast the opening speech addressed by President Franklin Roosevelt, marking that television was made publicly known to the whole world and people have officially entered into the ear of television.
