First Electronic Digital Computer

The first electronic digital computer was designed by John Atanasoff and Clifford Berry between 1939 and 1942. Unfortunately the duo was unable to finish the endeavor due to more pressing matters during WW2. The computer was later completed by John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert in 1946 and was named the Atanasoff Berry Computer (ABC).
